Custom Embroidery
Quality custom embroidered items with attention to detail unlike many items you purchase at retail stores. We were once victims of high-priced items with low-quality work, which is why we decided to launch Chell’s Designs. We pay attention to detail, such as stitch count, positioning of images for precision, and ensuring we take the time to use the proper backing to ensure embroidered clothing is durable and long lasting. As a courtesy to our customer’s, we even support BYOG (Bring-Your-Own-Garment, however you will have to sign a release form freeing Chell’s Designs from any liability in the event damage occurs.
DTF (Direct-to-Film)
For those of you who don’t know, DTF is the modern version of screen printing. DFT utilizes liquid pigment inks coated with an adhesive powder, when pressed at high temperatures of between 300 to 350 degrees Fahrenheit depending on the fabric being used and bonding to the garment preventing cracking over time like vinyl. For example, Cotton is pre-pressed for 5 seconds prior to applying the image to the garment then the image is applied and pressed at 320-350 for an additional 8-15 seconds. Be sure to use a qualified company, but we’d prefer you use Chell’s Designs.
Sublimation
Sublimation is a change from a solid dye to a gas, skipping the liquid phase, it infuses directly into polyester fabrics. The sublimation process cannot be used on non-polyester fabrics. We recommend a minimum polyester blend of 65% when sublimating otherwise it will not work.
